Our Beginning

Twenty or so years ago a very clever lady, Nan Bosler, AM, set up an organisation to teach Seniors how to survive in the Digital Age. The organisation is ASCCA (Australian Seniors Computer Clubs Association) and it has numerous clubs, like ours - Computer Pals for Seniors Northern Beaches Inc - sets out to provide a safe environment for Seniors to come to and get good information on the technologies that currently surround us. Compals NB operates from the Northern Beaches Council Tramshed building and has done so since inception 24 years ago. Trainers are volunteers who give their time freely to pass on the knowledge they have gained during their working lives and solve issues as they come to hand. Our Club has a strong social bond amongst students and trainers.

A happy and healthy community is not a pipe dream.

All you need is patience and a Digital Device!

Come on in, talk to us and get involved!! We need Trainers all the time. If you have experience with Smartphones, Tablets or PCs and you like to meet people, come and talk to us.
